World of Warcraft 3.1.0 & 3.1.1
I’ve been a little slower with the posts around here. I’ve got several videos to post still but I’ve been kind of busy. You see, World of Warcraft has churned out to new updates in the last week or so. The big 3.1 patch came out on, I want to say the 15th. Which was followed by the usual downed servers and bugs. It also brought us Ulduar which is a real cool looking instance. There are also many changes, which I won’t get into here because there are plenty of places out there already talking about them. I will say that it looks like my Night Elf Hunter can go back to being a Beast Master again. This makes me happy too. I was playing a Survival Hunter as of the last patch because the Beast Master got nerfed so bad. I was pretty disgusted by that. The whole point of me choosing a Hunter when I started playing was so I could be a Beast Master. After re-specing as a Beast Master the other night, it seems to be effective again.
Two other changes I am happy to see are; dual spec and not needing to go to the stable to swap pets. I can now set up 2 different tallent tree specs, and swap them anytime I’m not in combat. So far I haven’t tried it because I wanted to play my newly re-spec’ed Beast Master, and at a cost of 1,000 gold, I’ll wait untill I really need it.
My guild, well the guild I joined, has become a raiding guild. So I’m trying to hit level 80 ASAP so I can join in on the raiding goodness. As of this writing I’m level 66, so I have a ways to go. With all this going on, I’ve been coming home from work and jumping right into World of Warcraft. So my blogs have slowed down as a result. Don’t worry, at least I got the yard cleaned so it doesn’t look like someone who plays WoW is living here, anymore…
